Meeting Consulting
Moss Cairns provides a suite of meeting
consulting services. Whether we are providing a full complement
of services or just one component, we put the needs of our clients
and the purposes of the meeting first. For meetings of any kind,
we help clients:
Organize the work
Creating the goals for a program may seem elementary, but
a lack of concrete outcomes is a recipe for failure. We help clients
articulate a clear purpose and workplan so nothing falls between
the cracks.
Design the agenda
Both convener and participant need to get value from the meeting.
We help clients design innovative program agendas that provide
the right balance between presentation and audience participation.
Develop the invitational strategy
A great program isn't great if the audience doesn't
come. We help clients identify the right audience, develop compelling
invitational materials and recommend a follow-up strategy to
get them in the door.
Recruit, secure and communicate
with speakers We research cutting-edge speakers
on our clients' critical topics, then recommend and secure
the ones that best fit their needs and manage communication with
them. Our meeting expertise and determination ensures clients
and their audiences get more than the "off-the-shelf"
talk.
Facilitate In many
environments, having a skilled, outside moderator opens up greater
possibilities for productive discussion. We have a combined 20
years' experience moderating every kind of meeting.
Pre- and post-program surveys and reports
Pre-program Internet surveys are powerful tools
to engage participants in the coming meeting and ensure agendas
meet attendee needs; post-program reports are invaluable in reaffirming
consensus, identifying issues needing more consideration and communicating
actions to be taken as a result of the program.
Manage logistics
The devil really IS in the details. We can't overstate the
importance of solid workplans, good vendor relations, accurate
registration lists and the right meals for your audience. After
all, it's impossible to have a great meeting if you run out
of coffee.
