Need: The client and its partners wanted to complement its high-level
panel of CEO IT executives with a live survey of the audience.
Our Solution: Moss Cairns provided
the client with our APT system to collect data from a large audience
and to create comparison charts with both pre-conference survey
data and data from a live Webcast.
National Health Care Association
Need: Client
and their sponsor wanted to create a unique learning event for
nurses that stood out both for its innovation and its strength
in delivering learning.
Our Solution: Moss Cairns
works regularly with the association and its faculty to use APT
to improve each presentation, to collect information for the sponsor
and to gauge how effectively the program content was delivered.
National Food Service Association
Need: Client wanted to create a special event for its membership highlighting
its leadership in facilitating state-of-the-art consumer research
on service.
Our Solution: We helped
the client integrate APT into a special session for member CEOs
which presented recent research in conjunction with getting real-time
feedback from executives. Consensus points were made more strongly;
points of tension provided fodder for excellent dialogue.
National Health Care Association
Need: Major physician association wanted to test our APT as a tool against
its traditional delivery of education at its large annual meeting.
Our Solution: Our ability
to work with multiple faculty chairs and panel leaders led to
an effective integration into a one-day pilot session and a decision
by the client and its faculty leaders to use APT more extensively
the following year.

Need: The association wanted to increase interaction at its annual meeting
and collect candid input from members about what they expected
from the association.
Our Solution: Moss Cairns
integrated our APT technology into the meeting agenda to collect
data critical to association objectives and created fresh game
show segments each year to keep the audience engaged.

create concrete goals, presented to Board Committees on simple
strategies for increasing value and worked determinedly with
multiple faculty to give them a variety of facile, yet powerful
uses for APT during their presentations.
National Sports Federation
Need: Client wanted more effective use of APT during its "House
of Delegates" session at its annual meeting.
Our Solution: We helped
the client weight the APT keypads so that the actual strength
of each membership was reflected in their keypad votes. The flexibility
of the system allowed for easy voting on resolutions and
the numerous amendments that generally follow them.
National Health Care Research Association
Need: Client wanted way to liven up its 2-day meeting on controversies
in the treatment of cancer.
Our Solution: We helped
the client create a Pro-Con approach to meeting segments, integrating
the keypads both to jump-start questions and answers with the
audience, but also to gauge their opinion pre- and post-presentation
on given topics.
State Banking Association
Need: At
its annual meeting, client wanted real-time input from its large
Legislative Policy Committee on the priorities it should take
in the next Legislative Session.
Our Solution: We worked
with the client to create concise APT questions, shortening the
feedback process to a fraction of what it was previously and
allowing association members to use their time more effectively
at the Convention.
